I am a 5th grade teacher at the Keshena Primary School. I teach Reading to the entire 5th grade and Science and Social Studies to my homeroom students. I recently completed my first year and am eager to start year two (after summer vacation of course!) :-)
Overview of content/topic level of unit plan:
Reading - 5th Grade
Topic: Character Traits
The project idea: Students will develop an understanding about what characters say and do affect the people/world around them. They will be creating character studies throughout the unit to enhance their understanding of the text. They will also have the opportunity to compare and contrast themselves and people in their life to characters from the story.
Concerns, questions, and help: Please let me know if you have any ideas of how to enhance this lesson. I am also looking for more "kid friendly" terms to use throughout the unit to make the understanding of the projects easier for them.
How do I add an Image or File to My Page?
Select Edit tab then Click the File icon.
Use the "Upload Files" button or "External Image" tab to select the image or file you wish to put on your page.
Put the cursor at the position on the page where you wish to put the image or file.
